The Cape Town Liberation Route

The only tour of it’s kind in Cape Town. Visit “the other side of Cape Town” to meet the communities who so bravely fought against an oppressive regime. This is the little known story of the political, social and economic struggles of these communities against Apartheid. This tour does not only speak about the past but also about the future of the affected communities. We look at what the future holds for our young people.

The political struggle has caused thousands of people to abandon their education at the time and follow the call of “Liberation before Education”. So, we look at the lives of many of the unemployed and unemployable people.

This is a very personal tour and appeals to people who wish to gain a better understanding of the past and present political struggles in South Africa.
