The //Haraxas Wilderness is situated to the North of Cape town and the journey there takes around 7hrs. It has minimal infrastructure and is one of the few places where you will truly feel separated from the world as you know it. It is situated on a tributary of the Gariep (Orange) River.
Our accommodation will be in the form of a tented camp. This may be a communal tent or per couple tents, depending on your request.
This is a self-catering experience but some services could be provided at an extra cost.
In the evening there will be folklore and historical story telling with an introduction into the Nama Language as well. During the day we have access to the River for swimming.
There are number of daily activities and optional activities available. These include a 8km hiking trail on the property and an 8km return trip on a raft down the River.
It is truly a Wilderness.
